
The 3rd Toronto Scout Group
Serving the Village of Parkdale since 1909
The 3rd Toronto Scout Group was established, by charter, in October, 1909. Our original Charter still exists and can be seen hanging in the Brownsea Room of the Toronto Scout House located at 265 Yorkland Blvd, 2nd. Floor. The Group has been sponsored since about 1911 by the Church of the Epiphany at 1515 Queen Street West, Toronto, until the congregation merged ,in about 1984, with St. Mark's Church on Queen Street West and Cowan Avenue to form Church of the Epiphany & St. Mark. The Queen Street location was sold and is now the Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church. Before 1911, the group was sponsored by the West End Y.M.C.A.
